What are the benefits of learning to code? Learning to code opens the door to many possibilities for your child both now, and in their professional future.
Students will be learning important topics during the first week of camp, including Internet safety, Internet history, and learning many options for building their own first website.
Students will have the opportunity to learn color theory, digital layout, and spacial design integration skills to compliment their new knowledge learned in Week 1 at camp. Students will learn basic html and by the end of the week, will begin coding a practice website -- a lemonade stand business!
Students will use their html and design skills to plan their own new website.
With the building blocks students learned in the first two weeks of camp, students are now ready for the opportunity to select their own unique domain name and be ready to create their own website.
